"Feel-Good Mondays" are meant to help us get back into that place of feeling energized, nourished, and ready to take inspired action for the week ahead.
There's one reason – and one reason only – that you are reading this newsletter right now: You feel called to maximize your potential.
You know – in your heart of hearts – that by maximizing your health, maximizing how you take care of your body, and by learning the right tools and steps for optimal well-being, you can play a bigger game in the world. You can be more engaged and fully present. Make more of an impact. Do more with your body, and with your life.
You're absolutely right.
But before I understood that maximizing my health meant maximizing my potential, I played small. I hid behind the discomfort of my weight (I used to weigh 50 lbs more). I used food to numb myself out or distract myself from truly being engaged in the world.
As I began to understand the connection that feeling amazing in my body had with creating amazing things in my life, everything began to shift. As I discovered how to take off those 50 lbs (and keep them off), and how to use food and lifestyle practices to skyrocket my energy levels, balance my mood, and just feel so much HAPPIER, I was hooked. I became so much more present. Capable. Confident in my own skin.
