Green Girl

I recently attended the “Green Products Expo” media event in Times Square. Open only to the media, the expo showcased new, innovative, eco-inspired products of all kinds. I represented ecomii.com, the eco-living website I write for, and am doing a write-up on various green products that I’ll be reviewing.

One product that caught my eye was a great canvas tote from Green Girl in Los Angeles. These incredibly fashionable, beautiful bags are lightweight-yet-sturdy, with a comfortable strap that stays put on your shoulder. The totes are just the right size for stuffing in lots of stuff while on the go without feeling too large or bulky. They’re offered in both thicker canvas (the one I have) or a more lightweight cotton, are reversible, machine-washable, and retail for $45-55 on Green Girl’s website.

Unlike some other re-usable eco-bags, these totes are cute enough to be mistaken for a fashionable handbag (I’ve already received many compliments on mine). And Green Girl gives back to the land by planting a tree for every tote they sell. They donate a portion of their net online sales to charities that help protect and preserve the environment.

Stay tuned for my ecomii.com article reviewing other favorite products I encountered at the Expo!
