My interview in “Eat This, Not That” Magazine (Plant-Based vs Vegan!)

Hello and happy
Feel-Good Monday!

This is where we share our favorite tips, tricks, secrets, and ways to "think like a healthy person" so that you can find your own delicious path to healthy living.

"Feel-Good Mondays" are meant to help us get back into that place of feeling energized, nourished, and ready to take inspired action for the week ahead.

There's a lot of talk around "plant-based" and vegan diets these days, and the conversation gets me excited. Anything we can do to focus on adding more vegetables and fruits (plants!) into our diet is always a great choice that's going to benefit our bodies, our health, and the planet.

So does that mean that the logical next step is that we should all become vegans? Or vegetarians? Nope. Not necessarily.

While increasing the amount of plant-based foods we consume is always a wise choice, that doesn't necessarily mean that animal protein should be tossed out of a balanced diet.

The truth is that while veganism and vegetarian diets are super trendy right now, they're not necessarily the right choice for everyone. There are definitely plenty of people who thrive on vegan diets (I am friends with many of them!), but there are just as many who find they feel better with some animal protein in their diet (I'm one of those people myself!).

For our clients who opt to have animal protein in their diet (fish, poultry, meat), we always advocate choosing the highest quality possible: grass-fed beef, wild-caught fish, organic, free-range poultry and eggs.

I was recently interviewed on the topic of vegan vs plant-based diets for “Eat This, Not That” Magazine.

Check out the article for more tips on deciding which diet is best for you.

In our practice, we create customized, individualized diets for our clients. What works for one person doesn't necessarily work best for another.

Choosing a healthy diet these days takes more effort than it did in the past (before processed foods and junk foods were so easily available to us). But the great news is that we also have so many incredible options to choose from, and our understanding and appreciation for choosing an individualized approach to what we eat is growing day by day.

If you're looking for support in choosing the right diet for yourself, that's going to boost metabolism, balance hormones, increase energy and focus, and improve concentration, reach out to us. We can't wait to help you find the right foods for your unique body.

With love,

P.S. Do you prefer vegan or plant-based diets? Let’s get the conversation going on social media!
