I’m turning 40! Here’s what I’m getting myself.

Hi and happy Feel-Good Monday!

This is where we share our favorite tips, tricks, secrets, and ways to "think like a healthy person" so that you can find your own delicious path to healthy living.

"Feel-Good Mondays" are meant to help us get back into that place of feeling energized, nourished, and ready to take inspired action for the week ahead.

I’ve been a nutrition coach for 10 years. To say that I’m interested in better health and well-being is an understatement. I live for supporting others to take better, deeper, more loving care of their bodies so that they can heal from illness, lose unwanted weight, and show up as the best version of themselves in this lifetime.

And yet, when it comes to my own self-care…I can honestly say that it took a bit of a backseat over these past 20+ months (when oh, you know, a baby came out of my body almost 2 years ago).

If you’re a parent, this is probably a familiar story. It can be all too easy to pour all of your love and care into another human being while simultaneously letting things slide for yourself.

For me, this “sliding” has meant eating less veggies than I’d like to admit. It’s meant extra coffees (for those L-O-N-G days) and extra cocktails (for those L-O-N-G days) and a general loosening up on those previously tightened health reigns.

And so, as we approach my 40th year (not until June, but I believe in starting early!), this is my gift to myself: I am taking the month of March to put more love, care, and attention back on my own body.

I will be cleansing for the next 30 days, and I AM SO EXCITED!

(If you know me, you know that my cleanses don’t involve starvation or juice fasts, but instead are based on eating whole, clean, deliciously healthy foods that heal the body on a deep level.)

I am making this very public pledge to you because there is power in announcing an intention. And I invite you to join me in whatever way feels like the right fit to you. What do you want to focus on this month that would feel supportive, loving, and healing? (It can be anything from reducing sugar intake to drinking more water to committing to meditation, etc.)

Share your goals with me and let’s do this together! Let’s move into springtime feeling bouncy and merry and bright.

With love,
